Developing wellbeing habits and cultures of wellness
An individual's wellbeing is formed from their behaviours and choices, the people and places they spend the most time with, and when it comes to workplaces, the culture they work in.
So the traditional approach to employee wellbeing of a weekly yoga class, annual wellbeing week, or the lunch-time onsite massage, will have little impact on the overall wellbeing of employees.
That's why The Hour was founded. We believe in supporting employees to develop daily habits in four foundations of wellbeing (Mind, Body, Sleep, and Nutrition) through a cumulative 60 minutes across the day.
And, we work with employers to foster a culture of wellbeing throughout the workplace - to help embed, not hinder wellbeing in workplaces.

Why employee wellbeing is a strategic priority
- 73% of companies say high pressure work cultures are biggest threat to employee wellbeing and are worried about the negative impact on employees (REBA).
- 55% of employers are concerned about employees’ physical inactivity (REBA).
- Only 35% of employees say their employer promotes a healthy work environment (CBI).
